MEET THE TEAM
Dr. Rachel Bentley, Chiropractor, BA, BSc, DC, CAC
My Chiropractic Journey
From a young age, I experienced significant bone and joint pain caused by a rare metabolic bone disease and required numerous surgeries throughout my adolescence. I was amazed by how quickly I was able to recover from these procedures once I began to receive chiropractic adjustments. I also found that I had more energy and no longer suffered from the chronic migraines that had affected me for most of my life.
As a chiropractor, I love that I am now able to help others find similar relief through regular chiropractic care.
Born and raised in Peterborough, I pursued my post-secondary education at Trent University, earning Honours degrees in Biology and Ancient History. Then in Toronto, graduating with Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
I have been an animal lover and avid horse owner/rider my entire life. In addition to my human patients, I equally enjoy treating their four-legged friends. I am a certified animal chiropractor having successfully completed the Canadian Animal Certification Program with the College of Animal Chiropractors (COAC).
I love swimming, yoga, curling up with a good book, and enjoying the outdoors with my own animals (who also receive regular chiropractic adjustments!).
I am so excited to be back in the Kawarthas (the “Land of Shining Waters”) to provide chiropractic care to my community. In an effort to meet the unique needs of every patient, I have completed additional training and certifications in Activator Method®, Webster, and Thompson Technique. I encourage my patients of all ages to be active participants in their own health and look forward to helping you achieve your optimal health and wellness goals.
